We offer a wide range of encoders to complement our entire portfolio of DC motors for improved positioning and speed control. offers 2- and 3-channel incremental magnetic and optical encoders with standard quadrature resolutions ranging from 16 to up to 10,000 pulses per revolution, as well as single-turn absolute encoders with resolutions ranging from 4 to 4096 steps.
Because of the precise measuring element, optical encoders have very high position and repeat accuracy, as well as very high signal quality. They are also impervious to magnetic interference. A code disc with a measuring element is attached to the shaft of the DC motor in optical encoders. A distinction is made here between reflective and transmissive optical encoders.
